If the stage is the blank slate on which you can create, then what is your exhibition? Exhibition extends beyond the traditional notions of movement to celebrate the fusion of dance and other art forms. The show’s three key themes, The Written, The Object, and The Visual, aim to inspire movement in relation to literature, theatre and the visual arts, and push the creative boundaries of dancers to explore not only the emotional, story-telling aspects of dance, but also the design elements of choreography. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the production team at: exhibition18.ucldance@gmail.com We look forward to seeing your ideas! From Monday (16th) onwards, you will need our £21 general membership to join our classes! Once you purchase our membership, you can attend any and all of our classes for free! You can buy our membership here.
If you're not a UCL student, you can applying for the Students' Union visiting membership! You'll need to obtain our president's signature to proceed with the application, so she will be at the CSC reception (2nd floor Bloomsbury Building) this Saturday (14th) at 4-5pm to meet you and deal with the forms! Remember to bring along a printed copy of the application form! Come watch our first showcase of the year, the annual 24 Hour Show!
Choreographers and their teams will get together on Saturday, receive a song, then have 24 hours to rehearse before the show on Sunday.
