So it's another exciting academic year to come. The following gives details and dates of the upcoming events so read through it because you do NOT want to miss out anything.

Give It A Go Taster Day
Date: 9th October

Venue: Jeremy Bentham Room

As its name suggested, this is the day when you can have a taste of our classes, the society, or simply dancing in UCL. We will have taster sessions in break, ballet, tap, hiphop, street, jazz and contemporary. It will be £1.50 per student for the whole day.

24 Hour Show
Date: 15th/16th October
Venue: Jeremy Bentham Room
This would be the very first show of the year - a show that literally takes 24 hours from choosing music, choreography, costumes, rehearsals to performance. Check out last year 24 Hour Show here.

...want to be in the show? read on...

24 Hour Show Choreographer Auditions
Date: 28th September
Venue: South Wing B3A
Time: 6PM-10PM
The form of audition is similar to dance classes in that you will be taught a short routine. Choreographers of the 24 Hour Show will be picking dancers for their dance while you are learning the routine.

Freshers' Show Auditions
Date: 21th/25nd October
Venue: TBC
This will be the 2nd show of the year, and dancers will be purely freshers. You can see last year Fresher's Show here.

It's a lot of information so put the dates down in your calendar to avoid missing out auditions!

Is there any chance of getting a timetable for the taster day on Sunday? I can't be there for the entire day so want to make sure I'm there for the sessions I really want to do!

I can't make the taster on Sunday, but am interested in the beginner ballet classes. How much are the classes for non-members, and how do I become a member? Can I go bare foot/jazz shoes for the first session until I know I want to carry it on, and then buy ballet shoes?
